The Ranch Review in the Nightlife Guide
At approximately eleven thirty the first of two half-hour shows begins. On the dance floor is a man with a sculpted body, dressed in clothes that leave little to the imagination. To the beat of the music, the dancer allows the audience to see his attributes, while, with sensual movements, he removes each article of clothing until he is wearing only a tiny thong. Randomly, he moves among the audience to choose a member of the audience to dance with him; taking advantage of the moment to let the audience show their generosity with decadent deposits. When the song is over, it’s the next stripper’s turn. The first show ends once third dancer has concluded his performance. The second show starts at 1:00am.
There is little variety among the dancers, but they make up for it in other ways during the night as they show off in the other areas of the club. There is a $50 peso cover charge, which includes a beer and access to the next-door transvestite show, which, on an average night, includes dance choreography and lip-synced imitations. The “guests” of that night were Laura Leon, Ninel Conde and Avril Lavigne, who were received with warm applause. For anyone who wants more, the transvestite show is repeated at 3:00am.
At the bar on the second floor, located next to the billiards table, are 2×1 Mexican brand drinks all the night. It has a cave-like atmosphere and the service and the fun are not exclusively for the gay community. Ladies: it’s well worth your while to come down and enjoy a little eye candy, and why not feel a little of that heat?
